Houston Center for Photography is pleased to present a lecture from Williams College Museum of Art curator, Horace Ballard, on his exhibition Possible Selves: queer photo vernaculars. Ballard will speak about the curation of the exhibition and the global impact of queer identities on the evolution of portrait photography.
This lecture is part of a city wide initiative to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, which paved the way for the gay liberation movement and the contemporary fight for LGBTQ rights in America.
