How to Paint Like Frank Bowling

Discover how painter Frank Bowling creates dazzling, dripping compositions of colour. Frank Bowling was born in Guyana and moved to London to study Fine Art at the Royal Academy. To this day he continues to make work from his studios in London and New York. His paintings use a variety of bright acrylic paint colours and embedded objects that create unusual but mesmerising compositions.
