New Work by Kara Walker at The Broad

The Broad's Associate Curator Sarah Loyer discusses artist Kara Walker and a new acquisition by Walker called The White Power 'Gin I Machine to Harvest the Nativist Instinct for Beneficial Uses to Border Crossers Everywhere (2019). In this work, Walker imagines harvesting racist anxieties and fears with a patented machine.
