Celebrating leading designers and visual artists, the fifth annual FOG Design+Art Fair runs January 11–14, 2018, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. A Preview Gala Wednesday, January 10, 2018, benefits the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). The January 11th Innovators Luncheon, supported by FENDI, honors renowned chef Alice Waters, founder and owner of Chez Panisse. The event celebrates Waters’s ingenuity, and the tremendous impact of her pioneering cuisine and forward-thinking collaborations.
A focal point for design and arts communities on the West Coast and beyond, the FOG Design+Art Fair assembles 45 leading international galleries and prominent 20th-century and contemporary design dealers for a weekend of art, design and programs. This year includes 21POP, a special installation created by event designer Stanlee Gatti. FOG seeks to create a platform for the public, curators, collectors, and art world leaders to experience remarkable works of design and visual art. “We are thrilled with the caliber of galleries participating this year,” said steering committee member Susan Swig. “Now in our fifth year, it’s incredible to look back and see how much the fair has grown.”
