Other highlights of the Old Masters Evening Sale included a new world auction record for Gerard David, whose The Holy Family sold for $6.4 million. The auction also featured Elisabeth-Louise Vigée Le Brun’s 1783 Portrait of La maréchale-comtesse de Mailly, née Blanche Charlotte Marie Félicité de Narbonne Pelet (1761-1840), which sold for over $1 million.
