In 2017, some 50 of the world’s top watchmakers have donated timepieces made specifically for Only Watch – a biennial charity auction of unique luxury timepieces in Geneva.
Among the timepieces in this year’s sale is the Wostep desk watch, engraved with the names of the 16 alumni of the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Graduates of the prestigious program have gone on to become master watchmakers and teachers, says horological expert Peter Speake-Marin, ’imparting their knowledge and expertise to the new generation.’
Boston, MA- The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) will open the Watershed, a new seasonal space for art, with a major project by internationally renowned artist Diana Thater, announced Jill Medvedow, Ellen Matilda Poss Director of the ICA, today. Opening in summer 2018, the Watershed is located across Boston Harbor from the ICA in the East Boston Shipyard and Marina. The ICA will provide a boat to bring visitors between both locations.
